    A Sweet Smell of Roses by Angela Johnson…Fabulous for younger grades like first and second grade, even kindergarten. I use it every year to read to classrooms and talk about Marching and demonstrating as protest….

    As Good as Anybody by Richard MIchelson,,illustrated by Raul Colon….excellent comparison between Dr. King and Rabbi Heschel….
